Huh... Well at least bees have had more support in recent years, unlike Finn who was kind of thrown to the side after Force Awakens.
I would say that I don't quite get why there would be drama - but then I remember that fandom can make anything possible, so I shouldn't be that surprised lol.

After TLJ you mean. He had his own important story in TLJ. Even if you didn't like it personally, he wasn't thrown to the side. He had a story. It was in TROS that he got very little to do other than tag along with Rose for a little while.
