Good.

The only thing I know about this guy was everyone on Tumblr had a meltdown about him being bisexual or something.

That is how I got into Sailor Moon fandom too, loved the fic long before the cartoon made its way to my country (in the pretorrent/youtube times), and... I prefer the fic versions better.

He was based on a lot of partibois that Fleming hung around with in WW2, so I guess it makes sense.

This happened to me with Supernatural.

I'm also currently reading fic for a show I haven't watched. High five of kinship, OP!

I know from clips and show reviews on YouTube that it's probably not worth watching the show though. Or at least not the whole show, one storyline seems to universally regarded as great. Maybe I'll check that out one in full at some time.

Incidentally, if anyone has recs for Teen Wolf fics focusing on Stiles and the Sheriff, before or after the Sheriff finds out about the werewolves, I'd be very interested. I don't mind Sterek, but I find the relationship between Stiles and his dad way more interesting (talk about doing fandom wrong, lol).

James Bond is not a spy, nor is he a secret agent. He works for MI-6, sure. But he is the distraction. He starts humongous fights in large crowds, he makes so many things explode, he uses tanks, helicopters, and other large, loud things to take people down. He introduces himself by his actual name. He gets people to pay attention to him. Most of what he does doesn’t seem to be even intended to be covert. And while he’s being very, very conspicuous, I’m assuming that actual MI-6 spies are conducting the real undercover intelligence activities. This is the only way any of it makes sense to me.

Idk I kinda like the b!s part because nobody is the villain of their own narrative. Realistically, if the story were told from what is conventionally the villain's POV, the hero would be villainized. Since history is written by the victor, and heroes are almost always the victorious party in the stories told about them, there's probably a lot about their telling of events that is heavily skewed, or simply untrue. So I think this flavour of retelling is neat.

None of that is out of character for a rich posh boy though.

This is the opposite of the backstory for Daniel Craig's Bond.

I am curious myself. I interpret the secret to mean it was Bees vs Finn, which is just....wwwhhhhaaaat? Do people prefer an insect to a person? 'Cuz that does seem racist.

I stopped watching Cobra Kai a while back. This secret makes me wonder if the Johnny/Daniel fics are good?
