Momonuske in One Piece. I know he's only eight years old, but boy, is everything about his character a miss for me. The fact that I don't really like his father either doesn't help.

Also, we have seen a lot of kids in One Piece thanks to the flashbacks, and not one of them has been as obnoxious as Momo. The problem is Momonuske, not his age (which is the most common defense of his character that I have seen).

I hate at least three characters more than Momo (the worst is Caribou fuck that guy) but yep Momo's in the bottom five. So annoying and you're right, it's not because he's eight.

I can't summon any hate for Caribou at the moment since he feels mostly like a meme right now. Has he done anything rage-inducing since Fishman Island? I keep forgetting about he even exists, tbh.

I'm not even sure if that Chekov's gun of him knowing about Pluton and Shirahoshi will even come into play, or if Oda just decided to keep him around for the gag where he keeps involuntarily traveling with the crew stuck in another barrel.

Also, thinking about why Caribou doesn't make me rage as much as Momo just made me realise that Caribou is like the anti-Shanks: he also pops up every few hundred chapters, but nobody is happy to see Caribou.
