If there’s a season 3 of Loki I want it to be about Sylvie’s adventures working at McDonald’s. Dealing with snotty kids and their Karen moms, trying to win Employee of the Month, using her god powers to make chicken nuggets. And Mobius has to visit in every episode. And in one episode they’re all out of apple pie and she has to be the one to tell him and the whole situation is as melodramatic as possible.

They are attempting to win back the crowd that got pissed off by Moffat and Chibbers, but without undoing any of the shit Chibbers and Moffie did that pissed them off. So that is doomed to failure on that score, but they are recalling stuff from the non Chibnall era that means the both of the Chibbers fans are gonna be pissed off at the reminder that Doctor Who was anything other than that, so doomed on that score too. The moral of the story, work out who you want to please and stick with it.

So just hit that motherfucking big red reset button already and get us out of this shit before you Chib us into another twenty year cancellation.

eugh boy, I see why this is a secret lmao. honestly? you are probably valid, OP. probably - because idk and idc about his VAs other roles, so mb you have a point. and also I can see how it's easy to hate rise!Leo, I am honestly surprised he's one of the faves, but it's 80% thanks to the movie alone imo.
that all said... oof, my condolences on being wrong, to me rise!Leo is easily one of the most interesting turtles out of all of them. THE most interesting Leonardo for sure, for me personally. mind you, I'm a casual tmnt fan with "controversal" opinions (I saw TMNT 2007 as a teen and still love it, imo it's a solid movie with solid plot. and I lowkey hated TMNT:MM despite loving the animation style and overall idea of making mutant characters into proper supporting chars instead of villains of a day).

ngl I have a friend like that in genshin, but they are a busy person so they don't game every day, and when they do, we mostly just go around exploring the world and looking for challenges and chests. I kinda gave up on giving them tips about team comps/artifacts/weapons/talents and don't really mind it. but I see how it could be frustrating if your friend thinks they're the best at the game while being a noob, good luck with that and I'm sorry it's happening to you OP.

I'll preface this by saying, this secret was posted to be made a few weeks ago. I recently saw a post on tumblr about how Leos reflect their Splinters and while most Splinters have a hand in raising their sons, Rise Splinter dealt heavily with depression and left most of the raising to Raph and movies. Realising NOW that Rise Leo based most of his showboating personality off of Lou Jitsu who is actually Splinter, I'm kind of wrong about his personality. Granted I like my Leos like 03 Leo, but I realise that Rise Leo is ACTUALLY a Leo to his core, just taken down a different path.

But I still hate his voice.

Generally agree on this tbh. I hope the plot over the next two specials can justify it somehow, because as much as I love Donna Noble, The Star Beast did feel a lot like RTD just going back to his best stuff from the past.

They are attempting to win back the literal millions of casual viewers who drifted away over the years, from all the ridiculously convoluted plot lines and emphasis on specialness instead of ordinary (Moffat); and/or all the obscure knowledge of Who-lore that only the most in-depth, decades-old fans would care about (Chibnall).

RTD never forgot that Doctor Who has to appeal to as broad a viewer base as possible. Both Moffat and Chibnall kind of forgot that.

I say this as a Chibnall fan who enjoyed Thirteen's storyline.

You do know that fans are calling him Fourteen because RTD and Auntie Beeb insist on that, right? And it does make a kind of sense; Ten was gone and didn’t experience what 11-13 experienced. The base characterisation is still the same as Ten but already we’re seeing the influences of everyone between. And in a couple weeks Fifteen will take over and have a new characterisation.

I was reminded today, out of the blue, about a professionally-written review I'd read for 'Children of Men' back when the movie came out. The critic complained that the film hadn't sufficiently explained why humans losing the ability to reproduce would make people feel like it was the end of the world. It gave me pause as the time, as I hadn't thought that was something that needed to be spelled out.

What's a review that you've read that's puzzled you, or that you thought was silly? Hell, what's a review you've read that you thought was just plain bad?
