I only saw the movie once, but I feel like there was something innocent or naive about his douchebro-ness, which makes it a bit more attractive than real life douchebro-ness.

He was very much a cartoon version of a bully, and a pretty lighthearted villainous character. So I think crushing on him makes sense even if it's not your usual type.

I mean, a) he's played by a very handsome and charismatic actor. And b) (for me) there's something so Ken-like about how he's trying to assert the independence he doesn't actually have by stepping on another Ken's vibes.

It might be the actor. He plays the lead in Shang Chi, so if you want to test the therapy you can always do that.

LOL, thanks for the reassurances, Anons. What surprised me was that my reaction wasn't just, "Oh, Simu Liu's a hot, charismatic guy."... It was that the character's jerkiness added to his appeal! What is wrong with me.
