Regarding Band of Brothers, yeah they were on the side of good but they still did some awful shit. That might be what OP is referring to.

I don’t think OP knows BOB is based on real life. It’s the only reason I can think of to mention them alongside Rambo. But there’s a hell of a lot of nuance that OP seems to be missing in just about everything. Nuance that makes the tiger skins a lot worse and movies like Rambo a lot better. Rambo was one of the two main pop culture phenoms that spurred military and VA reform.
