I've been trying to find emo/metal/rock Christmas songs after listening to the Nightmare Before Christmas revisited album. A few faves:

Darcy the Dragon by Roger Whittaker is a must on my Holiday playlists. Its a Christmas song but it isn't on most popular lists I see. It is a weird little song and I love it.

I have a few Solstice songs in my playlist I really like.

But one of my favorite lesser known songs for the holiday season is The Maine Christmas Song by Malinda Liberty. Its just such a funny little Maine thing and will always remind me of "home", even though I haven't lived there for a decade now.

I have an entire play list of punk/rock xmas songs, like Christmas Night of the Living Dead by MxPx, and I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus by Stand Still, among many others.

Satirical: Tom Lehrer’s “A Christmas Carol”

It’s a fun medley of classic Christmas tunes set to his classic satirical lyrics. I always love his snark and sense of rhythm and rhyme.
