A good casting director can solve the first issue, that is literally their job. For the pig, the panda, the cat, the duck, the yeti with the head of a bull and back tentacle of eels, and the...etc, three magic letters for you. C. G. I.

I wouldn't mind a live action adaptation, but I'd much prefer an anime reboot. Well, maybe not from the beginning, but one adapting the last couple of volumes.
