I would love to see film adaptations of some less frequently adapted Arthurian stories.

I'd love to see some of the less well-known figures of those myths focused on. Everything is always Arthur or Merlin with sometimes Guinevere, Lancelot, Mordred, or Morgan or Morgause (and while I"m at it, can they please stop conflating these two?) thrown in there. How about we get some other points of view?

Tbf there was a (moderately financed) film about Gawain just two years ago.

Agreed and with a strongly mythical tone rather than trying to revamp it for a modern audience. The Guy Ritchie Arthur film was awful.
