As much as I like the convenience of Steam, I miss going to the store and owning an actual copy of a game (okay, yes, I realize I can still do that with many games). But I miss when you were allowed to play a game actually offline and save your progress on your own console/computer.

I feel you. I bought myself a switch recently and even though Nintendo store is putting a ton of my wishlist on sale right now I still keep debating whether to get them in physical form because I just trust that more.
