What is something good that makes you happy? A fandom you found this year, a happy memory, the delivery of a salad spinner this evening because no one believed you when you asked for one for Christmas…just anything happy at all.

Something that makes me happy: I bought a fancy holiday cup that I've been making a fun evening drink in (seltzer and cranberry juice lol) and its so simple but has been bringing me a lot of joy.

The person house sitting for us sent us a picture of my cat sleeping on my pillow and another one of them watching tv together. My girl never fails to make me smile. I'm glad she's having a good time.

I completed a drabble today. I hadn't touched that WIP in months, but today when I took a look at it, I recalled what it was I wanted to do with it so I was able to write it out. It will be a long time before I post it and it's a really short drabble but I felt like I finally scratched an itch.

I found the courage to delete my Animal Crossing island and start over. It’s so much fun! My old island was so crowded and I didn’t have the energy to redesign it again so I stopped playing for almost 3 years. It’s easier this time because I know what to do and what to keep or sell. I had my first two loans paid off in the first day :)

I love buying people their non-present present wishes. On Christmas Eve last year, my brother told me he'd love a shoe horn. It was obviously way too late to get him one last year, so I got it for him this year and ngl from the number of texts I've gotten from him raving gleefully about it, it's his fav. present. I always try to listen when people mention those non-present presents!

I wrote 180,000 words this year. That's my happy thing right now.
