nayrt

You seem extremely incapable of separating actions from intentions.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 02:53 pm (UTC)(link)
ayrt that is not an explanation. Just some toxic comment lol.

DA

No...? You do seem incapable of separating actions from intentions. It's not a toxic comment. It's a statement of fact.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 10:34 pm (UTC)(link)
ayrt
look up the meaning of facts lol

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 10:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahh, you're either 12 or a troll. Either way, no point in talking to you.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
hello, troll calling anon! D for effort to you.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 06:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Intentions don’t mean much at the end of the day, and anyone who tells you differently has a guilty conscience.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, they do because they inform our actions. If you have good intentions, but your actions harm people, then you change your actions because you have good intentions. If you don't have good intentions and your actions harm people, you keep doing the same thing. Because you don't give a shit.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
This.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 10:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Actions> words> intentions

Also in reply to another anon, if Steve's intention was to go on the frontlines with his ailments he's kinda stupid ngl.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 10:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Disagree. Intentions>actions>words. Intentions inform both word and deed. See: "He a little confused but he got the spirit."

Also, Steve can be stupid AND have good intentions.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I disagree that Steve was being stupid.

(Anonymous) 2024-01-17 11:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Steve can sometimes be stupid, but his heart is in the right place. My statement was mostly to point out that the two don't conflict. You can be a kind, moral, genuine person and be stupid. Bucky would agree.

Most evil people think they're justified in their actions and have good intentions. To steal to feed their family is good. To kill people of different faith because Church says it's good. Etc, etc.
I agree with anon that says that thinking like this shows unclear conscience. Looking at you >.>

(Anonymous) 2024-01-19 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
To steal to feed your family IS good. Very few people actually thought killing people of another faith was for good intentions. They either wanted that sweet sweet free pass into heaven (selfish) or the promise of land and spoils from their conquest (selfish), or both (selfish selfish).

Most evil people think they're justified and have good intentions because they only see themselves and their loved ones and peers as actual people. Otherwise they would see how their actions harm everyone else and they would stop. They think it's fine intentions when everyone else are just NPCs and don't actually matter. That's how you get people absolutely stupefied when facing consequences.

Steve does not do this.
