Same. I mean, maybe not between just me and google docs, but maybe between me and a few good friends. I started getting in my own head about numbers of kudos and comments, about how people are going to perceive me, shit like that. It really took the fun out of it all.

I'm trying hard to get back into fandom being a place where I do shit I enjoy, rather than treating it like a popularity contest. I think I'm gonna sign up for 100ships and just create stuff for me and my friends.

I love the feel of that community. Very chill and welcoming and encouraging. I thought about taking it on but honestly I don't think I'd have 100 different ships to create about! But it's definitely got me thinking about different ways to challenge myself to create more, because yah I'm trying hard to get back to fandom being a place where I do shit I enjoy too.
