I want to confront early seasons Xander and straighten him out. Knock all that sexist whiny bullshit out of his head and set him on the right path. Because I feel like he's such a great character but instead of growing out of that high school boy nonsense he double downed on it.

Yup. He could have learned from it and been a good character. The show pretended he learned, but he never did.
