If they did it right, I would absolutely love Assassin's Creed universe to get the multi-movie and tv show treatment.

Tortall or Valdemar

Teenage me desperately wanted either the Valdemar or the Tortall books to be made into a high quality TV series. Now I kind of like to just hold them close and reread because I don't want to see them botched and to see fandom pick them all apart, but if done right and in a perfect world....yeah that'd be fun.

If done right, hat would be awesome (but absolutely no one involved in that one abomination of a movie can be involved. Like, what the shit was that?)

It's really perfect for mutli-movie/show; one for each time period. And if you dump the present-story, people won't need to watch them all ala Marvel to understand everything. Ugh, I can just imagine the wonderful costuming, real history, now I really want this but I definitely don't trust modern hollywood to do it right.

I'm sorry, what movie? There has never been an AC movie. What a shame.

Yeah I think to make it really marketable they'd have to dump the present story, though I do think the genetic tie-ins to all the assassin's is interesting. I'm sure they could create some through plot for all the different timelines.

But there are so many possibilities! And each game/timeline has plenty of plot and info and characters for multi seasons. God can you imagine if they filmed on location and actually had the budget and care for proper casting and costuming? It would be beautiful.

Agreed, AssCreed please. I hate the "present day" part of the franchise so hard so I'd be fine with a base level of "we've found some artifacts across history hinting at a secret society of assassins, these are their stories" connector. that's it.

but mostly give me Bayek.

Bayek of Siwa! I did not expect to fall for him as hard as I did. He and Kassandra are tied for my favorites.

Oh gosh go to some AC specific forums and you will find that Altair and Ezio fight for the hardcore fave. I got blasted one time for talking about how much I love Kassandra, took me totally by surprise how much people hated her!

I think the only one I truly just didn't like was Eivor in Valhalla.

I'd love an audiodrama series for Baldur's Gate 3 with each Origin character getting their own narrated novel. It'd be so awesome.

The Tolkien fan in me would love if more things start getting (accurately) adapted. I'll even take semi-decent but not great adaptions like Rings of Power. I just love that world.

Warhammer or Warframe would make interesting franchises. Dungeons and Dragons has lots of room.

And given they are adapting the Mistborn books already into a tv series, if it is really good the Cosmere could become the next big universe.

I hope the success of the D&D movie means they'll make more of that quality. Doesn't even have to be the same adventuring party, just that level of fun high quality fantasy adventure movie.

I've heard that a Warhammer tv show has been in the works, or at least talks about it for awhile now. Fingers crossed!
