The thing that a lot of people don't seem to get when they label something "the next SuperWhoLock" is that the crossover aspect was a major factor. It wasn't just three big shows--there were edits and fanvids and communities based on tying them together (source: was in one).

I think the only thing that came closest was Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons (or whatever it ended up being called?) but even that was smaller.

I remember all the Jack Frost crossovers with other animated movies. Poor fans just din't have anyone to ship him with in his own movie.

I was in the RotG fandom and I can assure you, they did. Oh boy, they did. HiJack and Jelsa were bigger, for sure, but there was definitely Jackrabbit, Black Ice, White Christmas, and Frost Bite. Poor kid was the bicycle.

Just googled all of these ships because I've no idea what are they. Wow Jelsa looks so good. The fanarts are top notch.
