Early Daria fandom seems to have been such a cool place to be, I feel cheated that I missed it by not being born at the time.

I was alive back then but I regret missing it. Tried to interact with the fandom nowadays and the antis made me immediately nope out of it. (I know, enough about the damn antis already.)

Where are the antis in this fandom? I haven't really paid attention since the days of the Paperpusher forum, and that place was full of shipping.

FS is just obsessed with the idea that antis are haunting every corner, waiting to pounce, and repressing them by their voracious something or other.

In this case I think the complaint is legitimate, judging by the other anon saying, "immediately nope out of it".

It's actually the opposite. If antis were around every corner, we would be properly prepared for that shit. Instead, they just pop up at random, while we're just trying to enjoy ourselves in fandom.

I found a few while watching Daria videos on Youtube. I... regret engaging in the comments at all. Opinions are one thing but seeing them verbally attack an SA victim was over the top for me.

Huh. I just assumed people here were all internet olds.

Someone born after Daria ended could still be 22, just in case you didn't feel old enough already.

I assume we are all lonely 35+ people.

(Honestly I had never really thought about it at all until this thread.)
