DA I remember there were quite a few fic of getting rid of Weir and having John (or John and Rodney) lead Atlantis. It was always funny to me because they were the same basic plot but some people painted Weir as awful and John as a good leader, and others had John fucking the whole thing up (sometimes humor, sometimes darkfic).
