I have a fondness for Electro Swing and a couple of years ago, while searching for new music, I stumbled upon a catchy piece of fluff called "Betty Boop" by Charlie Puth on YouTube.
What intrigued me about it was that I couldn't find out anything about it, not even if the song was actually done by Charlie Puth.
For a while, I thought it was some random thing someone made, threw Charlie Puth's on it for attention, and tossed on to YouTube.
Turns out he made it in 2014, just for fun, and wasn't fond of it.
After it became a meme on TikTok, he made a video admitting that he sang the song, but he looks annoyed to be singing it at all.
He doesn't seem so much upset by the song being used as a meme, but by the song itself.

I know how it feels to create a piece of art you can't stand but other people enjoy, so I can empathize.
On the other hand, the fact that he's so annoyed by this dumb song he made for fun years ago is funny to me and kinda makes me like it more.
