... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!

Fandom: TGCF (Heaven Official's Blessing). Ship: Beefleaf.

I was expecting the canon content for these two to be really interesting or at least half way compelling given all the fandom love this ship gets. Instead I found it really underwhelming? YMMV and all that, I don't judge anyone into it, but I profoundly do not get the hype or love.

I’m thrilled that Lovely Complex got an English dub. I watched the whole thing last week and thought it was pretty good, even though a few of the voices didn’t fit the characters IMO. But I’m really irritated by the drama surrounding the dub, especially ‘cause it was just one guy bitching about how shitty the story, the characters, and the creators are and then patting themselves on the back for trying to pull a Ghost Stories with the dub. And so many people are bashing the dub without having ever seen it just ‘cause they took that guy’s word that the dub got changed completely, even though none of those changes actually made it into the final product. Like damn, watch it before spreading bullshit.

I'm sick of movies trying a Take on Robin Hood or King Arthur. I'd rather they just did a straight retelling again. It has been too long since they an actual straight version of the stories, that nobody understands what the Take is trying to subvert or avert.

I have bare minimum problem with Taylor Swift except for the excessive private jet usage and how a lot of her songs are the same thing hashed differently.

It's the fans that are the worst.

I'd rather The Marvels had been about Carol's encounter with the Disney!Planet. That seemed like it could've been fun, and forced her to think the solution instead of superpower it.

The only good fantasy epic series that I've read was the Duncton Moles series. The others were terrible, yes this includes LotR!

More fanficcers should be open to doing crossovers with fellow fanficcers versions and stories. I miss when fic writers would do that.

I wish Beau would pin comments that show both nuance and a contrary viewpoint. It sucks having to wade through a ton of fawning remarks in order to find any worthwhile points for discussion.

I'm seeing my first real concert at 38 and I'm both excited and nervous due to anxieties about past experiences being surrounded by others (bullying) that left me with PTSD.

I'm not going to let that ruin seeing the person who helped me through all that shit.

when I was young, I read a lot of spuffy fic post season two and came away with a lot of writers' take on spike's speech. one word I had never heard before at the tender age of 13 that fic writers loved was "c*nt".

I started saying it. a lot.

once I was brushing my hair complaining about one of oh my friends to my uniterested father and I said "corey is such a c*nt..." and my father say up so fast. he asked me what I thought that word meant and I was like "it's British slang for a stupid person?" and he was like "no it's not!" and chewed me out and made me swear I'd never use that word again.

it's been over twenty years and I'm so embarrassed to this day.

Fandom: The X-Files

I get frustrated at the responses people give me when I say that my favorite episode is Paper Hearts. They mention the amazing acting and the great music, but they seem to write it off against other episodes.

It feels like no one else sees how amazing and audacious it was for an episode to be willing to throw the ENTIRE SERIES PREMISE out! To just go, oh hey, no aliens, a human monster, that's it. (And honestly, a really fucking creepy one at that. Way scarier than aliens.) Mulder's imagined everything about his life.

And also just as a side note, the use of profiling and showing the FBI when it was just in the exact era of making John Douglas-esque psychological research its whole thing - that was cool too.

Fandoms: Eurovision, Critical Role

So help me, but Bambie Thug's NF performance gives such evil Fearne from EXU vibes, that it's all I can think about when hearing the song anymore.

I can't stand the Futurama "Anthology of Interest" episodes. I just think they are lazy ways to throw out crap that couldn't sustain a real episode.

I'm just burned out on hyperfixated fans gushing over whatever petty bullshit that they've decided is the most important thing in life, regardless of actual quality. I can't do most fandom these days.

Everyone talks about bringing the Mutants and X-Men into the MCU continuity, but I think Disney's real opportunity is to bring The Simpsons into X-Men continuity. C'mon, Homer totally has a mutant healing factor.

Nothing of value was lost when Fanfiction.net wiped the NC17 category, and equally nothing would be lost if AO3 did the same. Just as the wipe improved the quality of fic on ff.net, so AO3 would take a huge step up too.

I realise it is cool to hate on Marvel right now, but not even FS's usual band of Marvel haters can make me hate the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer/movie. So stoked! But also a secret because, it is totally cool to hate on Marvel and I'd get flamed anywhere else for admitting it.

It still blows my mind that the cartoon parody of Star Trek shows far more heart, and is so much more in the spirit of the franchise, than the big Trek live action flagship show has over its run. How did the latter, with all its resources get it so wrong, and the goofball parody manage to get it right? [Star Trek: Lower Decks and Discovery]

I kinda miss all those fun little tag scenes at the end of fanfic chapters where the characters would "talk" with the fic author. We should bring those back.

Gotta admit, I kinda admire the balls on the Call the Midwife writing team to manage to stick with the "Trixie is cursed in love" character trait, even after they happily married her off. I was worried she might not continue to be an absolute trainwreck of a person. But no, she managed to bankrupt her millionaire boyfriend/husband within a year. Love it.

I love staying places that have those old Grandfather clocks, I still listen out in case any of them strike thirteen and I can have a secret time travelling adventure. Yeah, I know how silly that is.
