I mostly agree! I desperately want old school pulpy scifi and fantasy, but without the sexism and misogyny that was in most of them.

Also just short little books. I went to a secondhand bookstore the other day and they had a great section of "vintage" scifi/fantasy and the books were so small! I want more manageable books I can read in a day or two. I'm tired of "epics" and "space operas."

...this show has a message???
mind you I only read the manga, but for me it's literaly a generic fantasy adventure. I am NOT trolling, if there was any message in here it flew completely over my head.
(PS: I thought the concept of demons overall was cool, at least they gave an explanation why they were evil.)

I LOVE the book. Thought the first series was fine. I watched it once, but never had the urge to rewatch (As much as I love him, I just can't see Tennant as Crowley, I'm sorry.).
I actually never watched the second season, despite always having shipped Crowley/Aziraphale.
I'm actually quite SAD that the show is doing nothing to me, because 95% of the new art/fic are in the show verse now and there is so much of it. I say that without judgement one way or the other, but they're on par with Our Flag Means Death fandom for me (a show I also haven't watched).

Does anyone know where the picture on this secret is from?

I certainly think epithets have their place. They can be used to add general character description or highlight certain aspects of theirs that are especially relevant in that moment.

But I don’t like the feeling that the writer “just wanted to change it up” from using the character name.

Thanks for making me feel old, old and decrepit, so very aged. I do miss the fanfic crossovers we had though. I don't think any other fandom was as happy to share their fan created characters and stories for everyone else to use like that.
