Wait a minute, are those the videos that the dancing Shrek (alongside other characters from different fandoms) are based on??

Not sure which video you mean but from what I understand, most of these are based on games/softwares where you can make characters do choreographies and can load/mod in character models from various games etc. and a lot of the choreographies in those programs are based on K-Pop dances.

Hilariously OOC is why I like those kind of videos. Though my fave is Kinect Star Wars videos and those are not fan made LOL.

Funnily enough I love a lot of those videos…of course, the ones I tend to watch multiple times/not skip through people have actually made an effort into making it look “real”.

Though yeah, they are inherently OOC because none of those characters do that sort of thing in game. Just think of it like visual fan fiction, I suppose. It’s wildly OOC for Obi-Wan Kenobi to be a librarian that frequents a coffeeshop where Anakin Skywalker works as a barista but that doesn’t stop people from eating that shit up (it’s me, I’m people…)
