Re: No one watched the Oscars last week?

I haven’t watched since about 2000 or so. I did hear something about them having their best ratings in years but that it was still a pretty low number and most viewers just watch the red carpet stuff. It’s been at least 10 years since I’ve heard any talk around the office about the Oscars with the exception of the Will Smith slap (that was the Oscars, wasn’t it?). And everyone just watched the clips and read news about it, it’s not like anyone saw it as it happened.

tl;dr it would be surprising to find anyone that watched because even in fandom and media-centric circles they just aren’t worth the time.
