This was me at my first concert as an adult and the lead singer made eye contact with me and I spent the rest of the weekend imagining that he and I would bump into each other and fall in love randomly in the streets XD

You need to learn to say No and set some damn boundaries.

But I also understand. When I get into bed it signals to the house that my day is Done and not even the pets bother me. It is also my favorite part of the day, though I don't read much fic these days I just really like cuddling in my blankets and not doing anything.

I'm in the same boat, only I have to read/write out the house if I don't want anyone to disturb me (mainly the library or a cafe, or outside in the park when the weather is nice).

That sucks, OP.
Could you possibly afford a comfy chair for your room? A tiny corner with chair and light and maybe a wee table for book and a glass of something? So you could sit there in slippers and robe and pjs or something and read until you're sleep without actually being in bed?

Probably you could get a particular light bulb for a wee lamp that would help to tell your brain it's sleeping time.

I don't feel the least bit sorry for them, and frankly, I think he's humouring them more than he should by answering at all.

Fandom's parasocial "validate me senpai" BS is beyond out of control at this point, and I wish more creators would adopt the old-school practise of politely pretending those rabid elements don't exist, rather than encouraging them by replying to their obnoxious asks, passive-aggressively or otherwise.
