I need perfect silence or instrumental music to collect my thoughts and write! I'm actually impressed lol

XD I like to write in solitude mostly because I don't want to be distracted by others trying to get my attention (as well as a general anxiety of feeling perceived when writing with others around, even if they're far away and can't see my screen). I think the podcasts and YT are like chatter in a cafe or my family in the kitchen back when I lived with my parents and we had a shared computer in the dining room.
