Well, they apparently dropped a modal (top-level alert) about the ban legislation then connected TikTok users directly to Congresscritters' offices, resulting in a flood of death threats (and hilariously, suicide threats).

I don't do TikTok, so the Riley Strain one never crossed my path, but the princess conspiracy nonsense did blow up somewhere where I am, and I am SO WITH YOU, here. The sudden drop off (aside from a few posts mocking all the overblown conspiracy theories) has been one hell of a relief.
