Well, just because something's historical doesn't mean it's not also true crime. Crime isn't a strictly 21st century thing.

As for souvenirs, check this out - it's not conspicuously gory, but it's weird that it exists. If you didn't know it was about a famous murder, anyone would think it's just a cottagecore-ish collectible:

True, I was just explaining that I forgot about it because my brain has it labeled as history, so it doesn't come to mind immediately when I think true crime.
