Roman Reigns finally lost his title. And it was a pretty hilarious sequence of cameos involved. Also, the less shitty Uso won and Gunther also lost his title. A lot of title turnover this weekend.

Yeah.. that's crossed my mind too. They claimed that when doing the task I left it unfinished and walked off but the PL knew I was going to the bathroom. So....

Shit...

They'd better pay you for the time you worked, at least!

What was the one job/task you had an issue with?

I would 1000% rather work at a smaller place like a pet store. You're not more likely to get screwed on hours, and you don't have to be concerned about being moved around to other areas all the time. Have you worked other retail?

It has been very very badly abused by such people, to be sure.

I find Comic Sans' letterspacing/kerning annoyingly off, like you just can't use it right off the keyboard without having to tweak it a bit. (Dyslexie, while a bit odd-looking to this nondyslexic, doesn't seem to have that problem!)

As for truly obnoxious fonts, it seems like we were glutted with all sorts of barely-legible "grunge" fonts in the 90s/early 2000s.

Oh Jesus, they can just do that???

I work in retail and we have probation periods sure, but even the fastest person I've known who got fired was let go after a month, not on the same day. The only case that would happen is if they were being dangerous or hurting staff/customers. I'm sorry you went through that, it's awful when employers treat staff like replaceable minions.

well i might get a check but idk if they even clocked me in bc the guy was having trouble setting up my password before it was decided i "wasn't" right and he just gave up

Yeah I've worked a lot of retail since i was 19. I've worked at walmarts before. I worked at Harris Teeters and Safeway. Target. And then also Home Depot and Toys R Us.

And now that I think about it I had this VERY SAME thing happen with a walmart in NC. where I worked there for all of a week , slated for a temp job as a backroom stocker but I had a panic attack on a ladder and then I was let go because for whatever reason they couldn't shift my job to another position

EVEN THOUGH the first walmart I worked at shifted my position just fine when I had trouble.

Anyway that was Walmart's third strike . It's gonna take some serious apology or making up for me to ever work for them again.

Yeah, I would look for smaller places that are hiring, because I've had much better experiences with those. That really sucks that they wrote you off with so much experience.

Oh yeah there's some really cool small places where I am.

TBH i hate to seem like I'm idk pulling a discrimination card or something but... I can't help wondering if it really was because I told them I was autistic in hopes they'd be accommodating . The last place I worked , Home Depot was incredible accommadating for the most part.

I hate the word uncomfy. It is very infantalizing and just strikes my brain as gross.

You and the lads should make your own tees! You could make it competetive or like make your own "team tees" to wear during sportsball.

Yeah I get you, a 'no' from an interview is much easier to take than being in for an hour and then being told to leave, that just sounds so weird. I agree with the anon below as well to go for smaller stores, that's where I've mostly worked and the environment is usually a lot better because bosses find it harder to ignore that we're people(district managers on the other hand...).

It's not a guarantee of course but management tends to get up it's own ass at larger places.

Huh. I like that font and definitely found it easier to read than a lot of other standard fonts. I also like Comic Sans. Hmmmm.

Pretty good. Mostly rested, which was great. Today was a little frustrating because had a situation with my boss. But the eclipse was amazing.

My boss and I got into a debate today over something I wrote. Which, cool, I'm fine with disagreeing on things, fine even with being wrong. But because he didn't like something I wrote, he decided it meant I had just copied and pasted it and not checked. And I had checked, we just disagreed. It was irritating.

I actually slept last night before work today so that's an improvement over Sunday where I had work and slept maybe 2 hours. But I've been very stressed the last few weeks with, maybe, the end in sight so I'm hoping the next few days will go better.

Had a bitch of customer today though so I had to hold back from throttling, so that was fun but whatever. She comes in again I'm going to be miraculously busy refilling stock and let another co-worker deal with her.

LOL, Colbert himself has pointed out the similarity on his show before, too :D. Yeah, the resemblance is definitely there.

I disagree that it sucks, I find going alone much more fun and less stressful than going with other people.

I agree that going, in general, is better than not going.

Fir concerts it really depends on the concert and who is going with me. I lean more towards mosh pit kind of experience, and if people are going to be fragile flowers in a crowd I'd rather go alone. But if I have someone that can hold their own and I don't have to worry about taking care of them and we can just rock together, hells yeah its better with those kinds of friends.
