I haven't wanted to say anything on my fandom socials, but I've been writing fic for 17 years now, and this is the least interaction my fics have gotten in that amount of time. I'm writing & publishing new stuff! It's just hardly anyone is engaging with it. My two most-recently-published stories both currently have zero (0) comments. Even with my stable of older fics, I've received a grand total of three comments in the past two months. I'm writing what I want to write, and I know there's *some* audience for it. I wonder sometimes if it's worth it, though. If I have an idea for a story, I can just rotate it around in my mind to entertain myself; I don't have to put in the work of writing, editing, and publishing it. :P

I used to get more comments too, but I'm pretty happy with kudos, to be honest.

No one comments these days... Something to consider, some people read only long/finished fics. Not sure if you want to write for them thought.

AYRT - An average fic of mine is 20,000 words and I only have one WIP, so IDK if those are the problems.
