I mostly read fic late at night on my iPad, no way am I going to do anything beyond clicking the like/bookmark/kudos button. Since most authors just want gushing, fellating praise rather than anything beyond that, why bother? They'll only get offended and cry about it, and then leave their stuff as a WIP anyway, whether I praise them or not. Not that I'm bitter or anything.
