Like, I read that as "I like fictional gay characters, but real gay people, I don't find all that great. I wish more real gay people were like gay characters, or I could meet some that were like them in real life."

Does anyone know what fundamental attribution error is here? Or cognitive bias? Anyone?
Does she know who and what 'real gay people' are? Homosexuality is a sexual preference, it is not a personality trait. You can be campy and feminine and heterosexual. It just stands out when a gay man is because of what TV has raped into our heads.
