A couple have already replied about this one- but to be honest, what's the point in wasting your time? o_o So they hate gay people, oh well, it's not like their oppinion will stop people being gay. At the end of the day, people can do whatever (or whoever XDD IM SORRY I COULDN'T RESIST D:) they like, and a hostile oppinion isn't going to change that.

I can understand the oppinion of possibly loving fictionally gay characters, but the idea of real-life gay sex can freak someone out a bit, heck, hetero sex can freak someone out too. I grew up as a muslim, and still am very much one too, i don't agree with homosexuality, but if people want to go ahead and be gay, then it's got nothing to do with me, but infact that person decision, annnndddd at the end of the day, someone's sexuality doesn't make you who you are.

4. Ehm ... wow. There really aren't any words. I know someone who was the type of person who thought homosexuality in real life was morally wrong but still wrote slash and I thought her to be the biggest hypocrite in the world. I can understand a dislike of the stereotypical gay person, but really that's a stereotype. It's like saying that bisexual people are all selfish and polymorous. You kind of solidify a lot of what I hate from yaoi fans and I don't have any respect for you, BNF or not you suck.

5. That's awesome. I wish I could plaster my walls with random fandom stuff, however I live at home with a rather OCD father who has stated a dislike of my KH Sephiroth wallscroll and it's the only fandom thing I have on my walls. Sadness. ;_;

1. WORD. When they made smoking around food illegal in Nevada, I jumped for joy, but in fandom, characters that smoke are TEH HAWNESS.

1. I don't think so, because I have to agree. Anime/games/whatever beautify smoking so it doesn't cause the character to get wrinkles or yellow teeth or cancer or bad breath. It's like the way I love characters that are assholes or megalomaniacs - but don't think for a second I'd put up with them in real life. Personally, I can't stand smokers or smoking and it disgusts me having to go to restaurants or wherever and have to deal with it.

...and that sounded totally disrespecting to smokers when I did not mean it that way. MOVING ON.

2. Word, word, WORD. I had never heard of it before my friend dragged me around and made me play it with her (we literally switched turns on the different chapters) and I loved it to death. ♥ I wish a fandom for it actually existed.

4. ...I'm going to be very careful with this, because it's obviously a sensitive subject, but I'm also not going to hide my opinion on it. I agree in the way that I do like reading and/or writing a few select gay fandom pairings, but in real life I would not like to hear and/or watch any sort of gay sexual relations. Though that kind of goes both ways, because I don't like watching or hearing about heterosexual relations because I find sex, at its base, to be pretty disgusting.

But I'm also not going to say "WHAT A DISGUSTING COMMENT / YOU SUCK" either, because it's your opinion and opinions are like assholes - everyone has them and pretty much everyone else doesn't want to hear them.

I don't hate gays. In fact, a lot of the gay men I know, online and offline, are awesome. I grew up with an effeminate gay uncle and his lover, and they're my closest relatives.

I DO hate when people flaunt their sexualities and make them into their own personalities. I feel the same way when people do this with their sexual identity. There's so much more than those things, hm?

I get what everyone's saying, though. There are bitchy, feminine gay men out there. However... :) There are bitchy feminine heterosexual men - lol metrosexual? - as well as bitchy women, of course. I don't think it's part of being gay. It just is.
