I know, right? I'm not going to provide any examples because... um... I don't want to be FLAMED TO DEATHEEEE, but. Yeah.

I, er. I actually never saw the movie. >,>
BUT I READ MANY TEXTBOOKS! Does that make me a bad person? ;_;

Everything about it is so interesting, especially since it affects so much of daily life and governments, and everything! :D
I agree- separation of church and state in this country is a laugh, and, to a certain extent, that's okay. I kind of feel like, when religion in govt starts to interfere with personal choices and feelings, that's too far, though.

Haha, I knew it~ well, no. But I knew it wasn't Rikku. that sounds really hot

ME = FRIENDING YOU OK?

[identity profile] ironjill.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 03:02 am (UTC)(link)
XDD Can't blame you? :O

Haha, oh man, trust me, I was in Politics of Religion last semester, and if there's anything more interesting than that...I haven't found it. Its so fascinating, even if mine was only American Government, and International Relations would be even better. XDD

Of course! Denying the OT3 is like denying air? :3 IT totally is. D:

TOTALLY COOL WITH ME I'LL FRIEND YOU BACK!

Hoeeeee, I'm in a terrible Social Studies class right now. Just basic third-year stuff- blah blah blah commies, blah blah blah civil rights rock, blah blah... But the people in it are... man, they lose the internet on a by-the-second basis. To avoid losing any more brain cell connections than I would normally, I read the textbook. It's a pretty recent edition, too, so it's got Gore vs. Bush fightfightfight in it. Fascinating stuff... I miss my Bio textbook, though.
International Relations is like, the flame index of the real world, I betcha. American Govt is prolly, like, the KH fandom or something. Popular, well-known, but easy to find tons of crud in. ...I would make a 'in my pants' joke, but.... there's something so wrong about that, and I don't know why.

International relations get kind of important for me sometimes, though, because I have a Chinese class, and our teacher is, um. Chinese. Naturally, at this point.
So, our previous teacher was from Taiwan and maintained that Taiwan was a separate country. We watched documentaries on it and it was really interesting!
When we got our new teacher this year, we were learning nationalities and countries, and one country's flag was taped off. We were like, 'huh?' and, um. Guess what?
Taiwan. Awkward moment, because Hu lao shi was all, 'Taiwan isn't a country, so I took its flag off.' Meanwhile, we'd all (even the novice 1's, I later learned, in 8th grade) had Lien lao shi last year eduficate us on the countryhood of Taiwan.

DENY DENY DEN- awww, man. I wish there was more good KH2 fic. convince me real hard and i might just join your ship

FAN-TAS-TI-K!

Ugh, I hate classes like that!! They're such a pain...that was my World Civ Class in High School, and its such an annoyance...and probably the reason that I would never be able to teach High School social Studies. xD but LOL that analogy is the best EVER. ♥

I took a Contemporary Chinese Politics class over the summer that was so interesting!! I loved it to death, and the teacher was so fantastic that it made me full love love and warmth. Plus, the professor is a communist so...there was actually a lack of the whole: "GRAREVILCOMMIES" issue, although there was still alot about human rights and Tibet and Taiwan...but I didn't mind that because its erm...true. :D

Awww, man, there's like none for my OT3 notthatI'mouttochangethatnosireeIdidn'tmakeacommunityjustforitnope

Woohoo! ♥

[identity profile] bedlam14.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 03:26 am (UTC)(link)
Classes like that make my ears bleed, except not because then I'd be dead. >.>
Are you going to be a teacher, then?
LOLZ LET US COMPARE FRANCE TO SOMETHING.

O, man, I love China and Chinese politics. Interestingly, I actually started out as the normal Japan!fangirl (though I never threw random words into fics, thank god...). I took Chinese in the second year, and... man, I fell, and I fell hard. I'm reasonably good at reading stuff, too, according to Hu lao shi.
Our school is actually pretty cool- we didn't get the whole 'GRAH COMMUNISM' thing. Actually, it's kind a of running joke that every teacher in the SS department is a 'commie red'. XD

Aww, man.... indeed.... do you write? because I do though not for KH but only because I have no inspiration in that area
also, since i write primarily orginal stuff- have you noticed that most orig fic is utter crap?? yes, i know- not nice. true, though.

[identity profile] ironjill.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe. College Professor, if anything. :D HURR FRANCE TO UH...ANCIENT ROME 'CAUSE THAT'S WHERE ITS GOING AHAHAHAHA

Its so fascinating!! :D Although I can't blame you, I was the classic Japan!Fangirl too, but then I decided that it didn't fit me, and I admit that Politics!Fangirl fits ohsomuch better! :D You're lucky though, we got the grar!communism thing just about every day, its so terrible. :( But lol, I wish all of my high school teachers were like that~ :D

Tragedy, that! :O Sometimes. I do mostly drabbles now...since a college schedule is so...sporatic, but I've been known to write originals...uh...in high school? XD I haven't had a good idea since then, unfortunately. And Yes, I have. Its awful! ._. ITS TERRIBLE. ;-;

[identity profile] bedlam14.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 03:46 am (UTC)(link)
ALL ROADS LEAD TO ROME!
HAIL HITLER CEASAR!

China is made of win. Win, win, win. Although, to be fair, its comics Do Not Win. They are narration and pictures and- um. Clearly Chinese comic authors have never heard of 'show, don't tell'. ;_;
I love changing classes finding the right fangirl type! It's like becoming an atheist ALL OVER AGAIN MINUS THE WOE!!! Or... with friends like mine, with the woe as well. Oh, you shameful JaPaYun!fangirls.
I personally don't think much of communism, but I was allowed to reach that conclusion on my own. (I don't think much of Communism because it never works, man, and I like things that work.)
Well, don't get too excited- the host of SS teachers also includes a teacher that informed the class of her eternal love for chocolate cake over describing the syllabus, a teacher that regularly plays the guitar before school starts with the case opened for donations, and a teacher that rides a motorcycle to work.
Nutcases? Yes.
Matches in nuttyness for the English host? Never!

Oh, it makes me weep the tears of the thousand orphaned seals... =..(
Drabbles are an art form, I maintain. They're like, ultra-short-short-stories. I assume you've gathered that I'm in high school, so... that kind of makes me laugh. I find myself losing writing time to schoolwork already, and I'm just a junior... WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE??? Seriously, the worst people in my AP English class were better than them! If you want to write silly smut, write silly smut- just don't label it an 'epic fantastic adventure'...

[identity profile] ironjill.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
♥ I already love you. ;-;

Haha, yeah, it never works. It never ever does... I'm more of a Socialist than a communist, but few ever really acknowledge those differences very much.
Your teachers sound like... the coolest ever, for serious!!

ORPHANED SEALS!? ;-; Oh yes, they really are. :D And yes, I had, But that's totally cool, because my Junior Year was made of complete busy, and then my senior year was made of lazy and blah? :D Of course...I wrote better than most of the people in the AP English Classes...and I was kicked out of Honors English 2 years before...'cause the teacher hated me. :D

[identity profile] bedlam14.livejournal.com 2007-04-08 09:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I LURVE JOO TOO, S-tan! Er... well, I suppose I'll have to come up with an Amusing Nickname for you. PERHAPS RIKKU? XD

It was really amusing- at one point, someone in my class was all, "urm, but what're the differences between socialism and communism? i don't get it." The teacher then proceded to make us read the Communist Manefesto, which didn't help many people. HAY MARX NO THANKS ON THE WHOLE 'COMMUNITY OF WOMEN' THING KTHXBAI

My teachers really rock. We all gripe about their weirdness (and believe me, the SS teachers are the most well-adjusted in the entire school) but we love it. Sadly, since I'm. Um. Homeless. We might have a chance to live somewhere else in a city instead of a small town, so we'll prolly be mooooving awaaay. For Senior year. Yeyy.
I'll miss all my druggie fantastic teachers.

YES ORPHANED SEALS WHO WATCHED THEIR MOMMIES GET EATEN BY VORACIOUS YEASTS! (sic XD) does it not just prompt the pulling-out of the pocketbook? I hate it when I see a whole collection of drabbles and am all 'squee!', and then. Then. Then I read them and... people, 'drabble' and 'dribble' are different. One has a point. The other is something that comes out of a baby's mouth.
To my chagrin, AP English is reaaaally overrated. By my calculations, if I do the worst I ever have in all three essays and then get half the questions wrong in the text analysis, I'll still get a solid four. IT MAKES ME SAD.
You should go back in time and attend our school k?!
