Well, I don't hate gay people at all, far from it. ♥ Its just the way that people have to suddenly change. I mean...I'm really anti-camp or whatever, thinking that someone has to act a certain way to fit in with others...Maybe its just me, but really, I don't like to see people change themselves to fit in.

Oh I know that. And to an extent I agree that it can be annoying when a friend changes who they are to fit in to something. But it doesn't apply just solely to gay people, and this originated from attacking 'campy' gay men, which felt like it was alienating them. I don't agree with changing yourself to fit in, but I can understand people changing shallow aspects of themselves to fit in. Just because I understand it it doesn't mean I enjoy or admire it, but I don't let it bother me.

*nods* It doesn't apply to attacking 'campy' gay men, I'll say the same thing to someone who starts listening to a certain sort of music just to fit in, or clothing, just to fit in. A friend of mine does not have the body type to wear the clothes she does but she does anyways, because everyone else does; instead of finding clothing that could look stunning on her...with her unique body shape...it makes me sad to see people try and force things upon themselves just to fit in.
