Listen, this is a lot different then listening to a band and trying to fit in with emo and rock kids. At least, that's what I'm trying to get across.

If you are SOMETHING by definitive nature in society, such as gay or black, and you TRY to NOT be the stereotype attributed to you and FIT IN with people, you are acting "WHITE" or "STRAIGHT" or "NORMAL". there is an automatic stigma that makes you alienated and uncomfortable, so it's only natural for some people to face human imprinting and associate with stereotypes. And that's even a small portion of the gay population.

I hope I'm making myself clear, I don't want to just come off as mad because I'm not.

Of, of course you can be annoyed of it. But you're ignorant (by the definition of ignoring actual facts/studies/viewpoints outside of ze monkeysphere) if you think there's somehow this huge difference between fictional gays that a dumb yaoi fangirl imagines in her mind, and real gays. Like the secret maker and the people who agree with the secret were implying they did.

The thing is, you are alienating a trait to be annoyed by that applies to everyone. And yes, it probably applies to you and I, too, whether you're self-aware or I'm self-aware of it or not.
