But I still think the point is that it's a conscious choice. You act a stereotype... or you don't. If acting "normal" is conforming, then that's a choice too. And I get that it (associating with stereotypes)'s natural and yeah, people do it.
But I mean, you can still be annoyed by it, right?

The thing is, you are alienating a trait to be annoyed by that applies to everyone. And yes, it probably applies to you and I, too, whether you're self-aware or I'm self-aware of it or not.
