Yeah- I mean, whenever somebody hears that I'm atheist, they're all supportive and like, 'here you should read this it is about atheism'... but, but. Just like there are different camps of different religions, there are different camps of atheism.
I mean, yes- the intention is so sweet, so kind. It really helps to know that people care about you regardless of whether or not you believe in something. I appreciate it a lot. (My mom still kind of blames herself, though- she's like, 'IF ONLY I HAD BAPTIZED YOU AT BIRTH DD:')
But I guess it might kind of be like telling a loose kind of Lutheran about this book for Christians, and it's all... strict Roman Catholic and stuff.
Honestly, I'm mostly hesitant to tell people that I'm an atheist because I don't want to be associated with those arrogant, pompous, self-important atheists.

Man, confirmation classes?! That sounds scary, especially for someone that isn't into being Catholic.
