What would you say are the hot fandoms right now? Is there a powerhouse fandom? One that has all the new fic amd fan content?

Anime has gotten real big. So MHA, JJK, and Demonslayer for new gen. 911 fandom is huge.

I'm an olde (grew up in the Sailor Moon/Pokemon/Middle School by Yu-Gi-Oh era), but man, JJK had me in a chokehoooold *ahem Toji ahem** before I left fanfic.

And I mean it went through them! Gojo, Geto, Nanami, etc. until I found Toji (and this was before his anime premiere). That character, I was done. Ready. Take a bite bb. LOOK AT ME TALKING ABOUT THIS NOW. Embarrassing smh.

The only thing I really ship after watching some of JJK (not really a fan of it) is Gojo/Toji and Gojo/Nanami. Tough out there trying to find good fic for them.

Baldur's Gate 3 and Hazbin Hotel are both fucking huge for fan content and discussion. Elden Ring fandom on YouTube is gearing up for the DLC release in July and no doubt will absolutely explode when everyone returns to play. I keep seeing gifs everywhere for Station 19 but don't know anything personally about it. I passingly hear a lot about The Last of Us, Fallout, Mayfair Witches, and Shogun too.

Most of the powerhouse fandoms are still popular but less so. And I don't think anything new has really replaced it. Fans are more and more spread out among different fandoms.

Hades 2 is only in early release access and it's booming.

Genshin Impact is huge. So much so that there is barely any other fanmerch at artist alleys at conventions (in my country at least). I LIKE Genshin Impact and it annoys me how huge the fandom is, especially when it overshadows everything else.
Honkai Star Rail is catching up fast though.
