I really tried not shipping it because the age difference makes me uncomfortable but the game is making it so hard not to - I just got to the Shadowbringers patches.

I tend to enjoy age gap ships, and I've heard this one brought up a few times before. However, I don't game. I think the last game I played was Banjo Kazooie on N64, in 1999.

Do you think this ship is the kind of thing a person could potentially get into without playing any of the games, understanding gameplay, or reading a novel's worth of fandom wiki? (I'd be okay with reading some fandom wiki, but not like a strenuous amount.)

I respect the answer either way, I'm just curious whether it's something I could potentially get into.
