OP - I love that it could be this kind of a show for you!

I'm basically a born atheist. I feel like I don't have a religious bone in my body. I barely even have a spiritual bone in my body. So that may contribute to my quite critical opinion of how it executes (heh) it's themes and story arcs. It's definitely not tackling its subject matter in a way that clicks with me on a personal level. But I think it's really cool that HH can connect with others in a way that's personal and meaningful. That's really nice to hear!

I was brought up in a religious family in the Bible belt (Carolina) and I also had OCD (pretty severely at times) that is entirely to blame for some of the crazier stuff I believed bc of my OCD

Nowadays because of my experiences I consider myself privately practicing in the amount of my beliefs I still have I consider my religious beliefs a very personal thing and I honestly feel downright uncomfortable with some of the way American culture shoves religiousness in your face
