There’s quite a good number of people born post-LJ era that are pretty fascinated with 2000s culture in general. I’d been interested in older fandom stuff since 2021 or so and discovered DW from absentmindedly browsing Fanlore.

That's cool :) Happy to have you! I benefited a lot from being in an adult community from 16, when I joined fandom, so I'm glad older teenagers are still finding their way to parts they like. It's great that fandom's so much bigger now but it's definitely harder to navigate imo.
