DBZ (I'll just say Toriyama's style in general) is a unique style, but that doesn't make it better than other drawing styles. Also, which style are you referring to, considering how many character designers and animation directors worked on Sailor Moon? (Even as a kid I noticed the differences between the art from episode to episode.)

Well put. I just thought it was better because it looked nicer in my eyes. /shrugs That's a personal preference, what you said is clearly better.

Which? Well everything in general, though specifically the manga, anything that isn't drawn in the style of the posters (http://media.photobucket.com/image/sailor%20moon/dr3am3rgirl/sailor_moon.jpg), and anything that doesn't draw Ami/Mercury's hair like this (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/36/Sailor_Merkur_01.jpg/220px-Sailor_Merkur_01.jpg). I know that some episodes had pretty decent animation while others didn't, but it's been a while so I can't remember which ones were which. :(

here's an example of what I deem "bad Sailor Moon" anime style. I cannot stand Mercury's hair like that.

Hrm, I kind of like it both ways.

There did seem to be one primary animation director/key animator that they used for the most important episodes, and I like them the best (the person who did the final episode of the first series).

I know who you're referring to, at least if my memory serves me, and their artwork was pretty decent. If they were involved with the movies at all then for sure I know who you're talking about.
