(Anonymous) 2009-08-12 11:28 am (UTC)(link)If the manga didn't capture their interest in the first few pages, why on Earth would they torture themselves to continue 'trying to give it a chance?' their time is not for you to decide how to spend it.
they don't owe anyone anything. if they miss out on something great because they couldn't get past the first few pages/chapters/manga that's not for you to decide. they feel their time is best spent elsewhere.

READ MY WHOLE REPLY. I couldn't care less if they give up on something after just a few pages; what bothered me was that they sat down and made a secret, while acting like they knew precisely what they were talking about.
