Random Genshin feels

(Anonymous) 2024-05-13 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm really enjoying Arlecchino as a playable character. Aside from being powerful and not that challenging to get the hang of, I really like her suit, her aloofness, and the aesthetic of the Fatui as a whole. Also, she's probably the least conspicuously pigeon-toed of the female models. I could do without the completely exaggerated spike heels, but in every other regard, I think she's sharp. They really went for broke with the "evil and regal" aesthetic, and I love it. Also, I think the orphans at the House of Hearth calling her "father" is hilarious, but apt. This is not a maternal woman. More of a ruthless spy who's surprisingly good with children.

Obligatory "the orphans call her Father, but I call her Daddy"

What new habits are you trying to install?

(Anonymous) 2024-05-14 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
I eat too fast and sometimes get terrible stomach aches from swallowing too much air (I think). Been trying to eat slower with smaller bites. So hard to remember to do, lol.

Man, I wish I could install habits. Just download them into my brain.

Turn off my computer at 9PM.

No screens before bedtime. I’m finding it very difficult to stick to. Plus I’m used to falling asleep with my TV on.

Going to bed on time so I can actually get 8-9 hours of sleep but that only works when I'm on vacation =[

No cigarettes until lunch time (used to be a pack a day smoker, smoke a few cigs a day now). I've been able to keep it up for a month and a half.

Your first phone?

(Anonymous) 2024-05-14 12:43 am (UTC)(link)
Mine was the LG Chocolate, I remember it being white. I pretty sure I was 10 to 13.

An early Nokia phone. Either the 3310 or something very similar. I was a kid in the 90s in the Philippines.

Technically a cordless phone in the 90s, heh, but I'm guessing you mean cell, so... some prepaid thing from Sprint or something. After that, some flip phone that might've been a Samsung or LG, can't recall. I was well into adult years then.

Nokia 3310. Brick of a thing that only had Snake on as a game.

Nokia 3310 :D Spent more hours playing the snake game then actually texting anyone on it. Plus I had two covers for it; a clear blue one that was really cool until it snapped in half when I tried to take it off a year later and a Hermione Granger one with the old illustration of her from the pre-movies era. Pretty sure its in my house somewhere with that case still on it since I think that I had lost the original case at some point.

A thick, pink flip phone (I can’t remember the brand). I got it in 2009 and was super excited to text all my friends until my parents told me I couldn’t text because it was too expensive.

A prepaid Tracfone when I moved away for college. At $1/minute, it was for emergencies only. When I wanted to talk to mom, I went to a pay phone and used a long distance calling card. /old

Technically my first was a Garfield phone. My first cellphone was the only cellphone on the market at the time, the same ugly Cellular One phone everyone else had since they were basically the only cellular company.
It looked like this

My first landline phone that I owned all to myself was a Tomato phone.

My first mobile phone... hmm, I had a Nokia 3210 at one point, and one before that but I can't remember what it was called but it had an antenna on the side.

A Trium Mars. I won it in a raffle, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten a phone at that time.

It was a brown flip phone. Pretty sure it was a Samsung.

I was one of the last people in the late 2000s to get a cell phone.

I recall stating I can depend on other people's phones and public services to get a hold of people.
But it was mostly so that if I went out, my mom wouldn't be able to get a hold of me.
