USA is crazy with your democrats and republicans

What is crazy about it? Other countries have political parties, it is not something unique to the US.

Why "so called"? The different generation labels correlate to people born between certain years, it's not so-called. It's not just a slang term for "old people", it has an actual definition. Maybe in your country they don't use those labels, which might be why you're calling them "people in their 70s", but it's a legitimate thing, and the youngest boomers are exactly 60, so not all in their 70s.

They usually have no actual knowledge about their representives and actual policies behind the politicians' rethorics.

From the outsider's POV politics obsessed americans are very lame.

Why is it very lame? In my experience, the people who consider themselves politics obsessed are the ones who are very educated about what's going on in politics and very well versed on the different politics of specific politicians. I think it's good to be informed.

"Usually" is definitely an exaggeration. Is it true that there are people who are uninformed when it comes to politics? Yes, but a lot of those people don't vote at all, and of the ones that do, it's not a large enough percentage to be defined as "usually".

This is not as big of an issue as you seem to think it is, and definitely not the majority.

Overall, I feel like you are generalizing way too much about the state of US politics for someone who is not even from the US. I don't know where you get your information, but it is not correct.

No other country is that crazy about politics. No one says "oh, this block? He's a Tory". No one else uses political leanings to describe others.

That's where you go wrong. You can't make generalities on Americans' relationship to politics based on FS, YT and Reddit. There is absolutely stupidity and narrow-mindedness in those places when it comes to politics, but it is not emblematic of the entire country.

I think someone who has regular contact with people from the US has a perfect right to form opinions on what he sees them saying and doing. Non-American!Anon don't have to have some mythical balanced view based on also dealing with moderates who never show up in their field of vision, and they don't have to make up a more flattering picture than the one they get from direct experience. FandomSecrets is arguably a fairly small and self-selected community, and perhaps unfair for that reason, but Reddit and YouTube are giant. You're skirting close to "no true Scotsman," if you argue that's not a fair representation of public opinions in America. What would be, in your estimation? Or is it just because they think Americans are extreme, as opposed to level-headed and measured?

You’re only half right. People constantly say things like “what do you expect, he’s a Tory?” But that’s the only party that applies to on a large scale, you’re not going to hear more than one person say it about Lib Dems or Labour supporters or anyone else.

Yeah, most countries just have a bit more than just two political parties (That count, at least). It's very black or white in the US.
