Romantic abuse tropes, in general. I myself have dark fantasies and enjoy fiction that explores heavy subject matter, I love psychological horror. And with dark erotica it doesn't have to be 100% realistic at all, of course it will have fantasy aspects. But I get squicked out by totally romantic or fluffy treatments of abusive scenarios really fast, where it's not supposed to come across as fucked up. In a worse part of my life that type of story was legit triggering for me while I could read fiction about abuse with a more serious tone without getting triggered. This is just a personal squick though, I understand why the fantasy of romantic abuse appeals to people. But it's generally REALLY not for me.

I'm not triggered by this, but I also find it offputting and unappealing.
