Bullshit argument. You don't have to tag for canon facts. You should absolutely tag for major changes from the canon facts. Are you the same moron from yesterday who still doesn't understand why people don't need to tag for cishet when cishet is the canon?

Tag for slash, you know that people find that sort of thing wrong.

If two characters are canonically male and you tag them as the relationship, tagging slash is superfluous.

You don't need to state that a character is cis for the same reason that you don't have to state that a character eats food and shits. You may not like it but being cis (and het) is the standard human experience for most people.

Yes. And there are a couple ways to do that. If the fic has a Male/Male pairing, that character is going to be portrayed a gay (or bi). Or, if for some reason the character is gay but not in a relationship, it is likely tagged or in the summary.

Why wouldn't you??? It helps people who want to read fics with that character being gay find you. And for people that want to avoid reading that kind of fic (for whatever reason they may have), they can.

Exactly. Most people do it. Some people don't. Some like to not shave. Some do a different type of teeth hygiene because they can't stand the feel of brushes. But because most people do it, it's a better use of resources to assume everyone around you does until noticed or stated otherwise, just from mathematical probability.

Pretty sure more people worldwide don't regularly brush their teeth or regularly shave than are not cis so really, it would be even more unlikely. And the secret actually explicitly stated this wasn't about trans characters but biologically male characters who happen to have a vagina so yes, that would be even more unlikely unless clearly stated in canon.

Or that Dean/Sam ALSO needs to be tagged incest. It's a built in assumption you don't tag for. But you WOULD tag for unrelated Dean/Sam because that is not the norm for that tag.

No. Same as people tag wingfic if a character who has no wings in canon has wings in the fic. It doesn't matter that that character could potentially be hiding them under their clothes, who knows! Canon doesn't explicitly state they DON'T have wings. But it's still very likely they don't, as is very likely that a canonically male character doesn't have a cunt.
