My dissatisfaction with reddit is that most of the fandom subs I've been on have felt like they were full of normies. Hardly anyone seemed to ready fanfic, and shipping seemed borderline foreign to most of them. God forbid you ship anything noncanonical. God doubly forbid you ship anything noncanonical AND problematic. *eyeroll*

Frankly for one of my fandoms I prefer reddit because it's mostly normy guys there. I hate juggernaut otp for this fandom because I am not really into toxic one sided ships so I've got it blocked anyway. And redditors don't mind smaller f/f ship I like so we are good.
Recently we've got they are so yaoi post, that was absolute cringefest
