I just wish they'd given the co-stars more to do or given them character beyond the thin gloss they got. I waited three seasons for it to happen, and it never did, so I gave up. If I liked Burnham more, I could have gutted it out, but I was lukewarm towards her at best and annoyed by how much of the narrative she ate at worst.

I wanted an ensemble ST show (which even Picard managed to do, and it was called Picard!), not whatever Discovery was.
