By that I mean, for people familiar with Bleach, it was really obvious to guess the book's true source material based on the character dynamics and relationships. The characters had physical descriptions and accessories lifted directly from Bleach, a fantasy anime, that just didn't fit the futuristic techno-cyberpunk setting of the book.
